Imagine Tomorrow  
new exhibition celebrating creativity in our community!
Huntsville, AL – What will the world look like in 50 years? 1,000 years? No matter what we may predict we know one thing for sure, life – and art – will be different. The Huntsville Museum of Art is excited to announce a new juried exhibition of artwork, Imagine Tomorrow, which looks ahead toward the mystery of tomorrowImagine Tomorrow will be on view June 13 through September 12, 2010.
Imagine Tomorrow features selections from children, university students, art teachers/professors and professional artists – all residents of the Huntsville/Madison community. The exhibition provides an opportunity for people of all ages and walks of life to participate in the visual arts with their unique view of the future.
Artwork will be juried by an esteemed panel of judges which includes Huntsville Mayor, Tommy Battle; Madison Mayor, Paul Finley; Executive Director of the Huntsville Arts Council, Allison Dillon-Jauken; Dean of UA Huntsville College of Liberal Arts, Glenn Dasher; Alabama A&M Associate Professor Joe Washington; and Huntsville Museum of Art CEO, Clayton Bass.
A call for submissions has been sent to all local school districts, local universities, Research Park companies, Lowe Mill and Huntsville Art League artists. Local artists unaffiliated with any of these groups are welcome to submit artwork on their own. Submissions are due by May 24. Rules and regulations can be found online at www.hsvmuseum.org

Imagine Tomorrow is a collaboration with Huntsville Art League, Lowe Mill Arts and Entertainment, UA Huntsville, Alabama A&M and The Arts Council.

Museum Hours:
CLOSED MONDAY
Tuesday – Saturday: 10am – 5:00pm, extended hours on Thursday until 8:00pm
Sunday: 1:00 – 5:00pm
